JUL 111984 <br />BOOK 57 F".GF 667 <br />Commissioner Bird advised that the Committee will be <br />prepared to make a final recommendation to the Board re the <br />feasibility of the County building and operating a public <br />golf course by the end of this year. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0) authorized the County <br />Attorney to draw up a formal scope of work <br />with the National Golf Foundation, as outlined <br />in the recommendation by the Golf Course <br />Feasibility Study Committee. <br />Commissioner Bird explained that the National Golf <br />Foundation is a non-profit organization, which is primarily <br />supported by various golf manufacturers and distributors <br />throughout the country.
