RATE RESOLUTION NO. 2010-051 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2010-014, WHICH ADOPTED RATES, FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES, AMENDING THE RECLAIMED WATER RATE PER ONE THOUSAND (1,000) GALLONS AND CREATING A ONE TIME DUMP FEE FOR SLUDGE AND SEPTAGE FOR RECREATION VEHICLES. FIRST BY AMENDING THE RECLAIMED WATER RATES — PER 1,000 GALLONS FROM $0.15 TO $0.60 TO BEGIN JANUARY 1, 2011 AND TO BE INCREASED ANNUALLY FOR FOUR YEARS BEGINNING ON JANUARY 1, 2012, BY $0.07 PER THOUSAND GALLONS PER YEAR. THEREBY, CREATING RATES ANNUALLY OF $0.60 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.67 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.74 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.81 PER THOUSAND GALLONS AND ENDING $0.88 PER THOUSAND; AND, CREATING A ONE TIME DUMP FEE PER RECREATIONAL VEHICLE FOR SEPTAGE AND SLUDGE OF $10.00 PER DUMP. WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII, Section 1 of the Florida Constitution and Florida Statues section 125.01, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County ("Board") has all powers of local self-government to perform County functions. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desire to incorporate into its Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other Charges, new Fees for Reuse Water and Recreation Vehicle septage and sludge dumping. Now therefore, be it resolved that Resolution 2010-014 is amended to adopt the following Section inclusion into the Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other Charges: Current Effective January 1, 2011 Effective January 1, 2012 Effective January 1, 2013 Effective January 1, 2014 Effective January 1, 2015 $.15 per thousand gallons $.60 per thousand gallons $.67 per thousand gallons $.74 per thousand gallons $.81 per thousand gallons $.88 per thousand gallons
