RATE RESOLUTION NO. 2010-051 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2010-014, WHICH ADOPTED <br />RATES, FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />UTILITY SERVICES, AMENDING THE RECLAIMED WATER <br />RATE PER ONE THOUSAND (1,000) GALLONS AND CREATING <br />A ONE TIME DUMP FEE FOR SLUDGE AND SEPTAGE FOR <br />RECREATION VEHICLES. FIRST BY AMENDING THE <br />RECLAIMED WATER RATES — PER 1,000 GALLONS FROM <br />$0.15 TO $0.60 TO BEGIN JANUARY 1, 2011 AND TO BE <br />INCREASED ANNUALLY FOR FOUR YEARS BEGINNING ON <br />JANUARY 1, 2012, BY $0.07 PER THOUSAND GALLONS PER <br />YEAR. THEREBY, CREATING RATES ANNUALLY OF $0.60 <br />PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.67 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, <br />$0.74 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.81 PER THOUSAND <br />GALLONS AND ENDING $0.88 PER THOUSAND; AND, <br />CREATING A ONE TIME DUMP FEE PER RECREATIONAL <br />VEHICLE FOR SEPTAGE AND SLUDGE OF $10.00 PER DUMP. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII, Section 1 of the Florida Constitution and <br />Florida Statues section 125.01, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County ("Board") has all powers of local self-government to perform County functions. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desire to incorporate into its <br />Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other <br />Charges, new Fees for Reuse Water and Recreation Vehicle septage and sludge dumping. <br />Now therefore, be it resolved that Resolution 2010-014 is amended to adopt the following <br />Section inclusion into the Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer <br />Rates, Fees and Other Charges: <br />Current <br />Effective January 1, 2011 <br />Effective January 1, 2012 <br />Effective January 1, 2013 <br />Effective January 1, 2014 <br />Effective January 1, 2015 <br />$.15 per thousand gallons <br />$.60 per thousand gallons <br />$.67 per thousand gallons <br />$.74 per thousand gallons <br />$.81 per thousand gallons <br />$.88 per thousand gallons <br />
