Wednesday, August 1, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />'Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, August 1, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; and <br />Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commis- <br />sioner Wodtke led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Bird requested that retroactive approval <br />of out -of -county travel be added for his travel to <br />Tallahassee re beach acquisition. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added <br />the above item requested by Commissioner Bird <br />to the Consent Agenda. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested that discussion re a <br />letter from St. John's River Water Management District be <br />added to today's agenda under her items. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously added <br />the above item to today's agenda as requested <br />by Commissioner Bowman. <br />AUG 1 1984 RooK 5 7 FADE 805 <br />
