E <br />AUG 1 1994 BOOK �£7 P'nUE 812 <br />this area. Since this affects property owners in this <br />County, she requested that the Chairman be authorized to <br />send the District a letter requesting that the meeting be <br />held in the Sebastian area in the evening so that local <br />people can participate and have input. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bowman, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, to authorize <br />the Chairman to send a letter to St. John's <br />River Water Management re changing the loca- <br />tion of their August 8th meeting, as above. <br />Commissioner Bird felt this would be quite short notice <br />as there probably would have been an advertised notice of <br />the meeting. <br />Chairman Scurlock noted that we can indicate that if in <br />the future something directly affecting our county is to be <br />discussed, we would like that meeting to be held in Indian <br />River County. <br />Commissioner Wodtke believed if the meeting of August <br />8th has not been advertised, we could request that it be <br />changed to another time, if it has, then we could make the <br />request suggested by the Chairman. <br />Commissioner Bowman and Lyons agreed with the above <br />suggestions. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION, <br />including the suggestions made by Board <br />members. It was voted on and carried <br />unanimously. <br />0 <br />
