• <br />BOOK 57 Fnr <br />ORDINANCE NO. 84-49 <br />Ali ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AMENDING THE THOROUGHFARE PLAN <br />MAP IN THE TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN BY DELETING, ADDING, EXTENDING, AND RECLASSIFYING <br />CERTAIN ROADS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />amend the Thoroughfare Plan Map in the Transportation Element <br />of the Comprehensive Plan and pursuant thereto held a public <br />hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in interest and <br />citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the Thoroughfare Plan Map in <br />the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan of Indian <br />River County, Florida, be amended as follows: <br />1. Delete roadways maintained by the City of Sebastian, as <br />determined by the Florida Statutory functional reclassi- <br />- fication system. Incorporate roadways as shown on <br />Sebastian's Comprehensive Plan. <br />2. Designate additional secondary collectors for Vero Lake <br />Estates to reserve for future growth: <br />a) Add 86th Street from 101st Ave. to 106th Ave. <br />b) Add 77th Street (Hobart Road) from 74th Ave. to 106th <br />Ave. <br />c) Add 92nd Avenue from 77th Street (Hobart Road) to 86th <br />Street. <br />d) Add 98th Avenue from 77th Street to 86th Street. <br />e) Add 106th Avenue from 77th Street to CR 512. <br />3. Show connection of 26th Street (Walker Ave.) to 74th Avenue <br />(Range Line- Road). <br />4. Extend Indian River Boulevard north from SR 60 to*53rd <br />Street (Kingsberry Road) at U.S.#1 when a suitable route <br />is determined to provide for a future U.S.#1 bypass route. <br />5. Delete the primary collector diagonally extending between <br />66th Avenue and Powerline Road north of CR 510; delete <br />Powerline Road as a primary collector and add Schumann <br />Drive as a primary collector. <br />6. Delete roadways maintained by the City of Vero Beach, as <br />determined by the Florida Statutory functional reclassifi- <br />cation system. <br />7. Reclassify 27th Avenue (Emerson Avenue) from a primary <br />collector to an arterial. <br />8. Add a future interchange on I-95 at Oslo Road. <br />9. Add 98th Avenue as a secondary collector between SR 60 and <br />Oslo Road; upgrade 4th Street (Citrus Road) west of 90th <br />Avenue to 98th Avenue from a local road to a secondary <br />collector. <br />31 <br />I <br />d, <br />
