ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0, Commissioner Bird having <br />left the meeting), renewed the lease with the <br />Treasure Coasters Repeater Association for use <br />of the tower at Kiwanis-Hobart Park. <br />AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT entered into on the 8th day of August <br />1984, by and between ISAAC ROACH (ROACH), individually, and for the <br />TREASURE COASTERS REPEATER ASSOCIATION, INC., and INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida (COUNTY):,- their <br />heirs, successors and assigns. <br />WHEREAS, in 1981, ROACH requested COUNTY to allow the use of <br />a County tower located at Kiwanis Hobart Park for a repeater radio <br />station and the COUNTY and ROACH entered into a written contract dated <br />July 16, 1981, and <br />WHEREAS, the Association is now incorporated into a Florida <br />Not -for -Profit Corporation and is the owner of the equipment that is <br />installed on the Tower and the new Corporation wishes to enter into <br />another contract to supercede the prior agreement of July 16, 1981 to <br />reflect the fact of the change in the status of the Association, and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY determines that the installation of the repeater <br />station on the tower continues to be in the public interest, increasing <br />communications in case of emergencies or disasters, <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of mutual promises, the parties <br />agree as follows: <br />1. County has allowed ROACH to install a repeater radio station <br />at the Kiwanis Hobart Park which installation includes the placement <br />of a small cabinet (4' x 2' x 1') .antenna wire and an antenna on the <br />tower. <br />2.
