Wednesday, August 15, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, August 15, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; -and William C. Wodtke, Jr. <br />Absent were Richard N. Bird and County Attorney Gary <br />Brandenburg, who were out of town on County business. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Chris <br />Paull, Assistant Attorney to the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Pastor. Stan Sanford, First Baptist Church, Wabasso, <br />gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested that an item be added <br />under the Administrator's matters in regard to emergency <br />replacement of a radio repeater on the Hobart Tower. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, (Commissioner Bird <br />being absent) the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />added the above emergency item to today's agenda <br />as requested by the Administrator. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />July 25, 1984.
