COOK, JR., Senior Veterans Service Officer <br />for Indian River County, Florida, will retire from that office as <br />of the 6th Day of September, 1984; and <br />WHEREAS, JERRY R. COOK, JR. has earned the reputation of <br />being completely dedicated to the best interests of the Veterans, <br />their dependents, and/or heirs through his patient understanding, <br />expertise, and devotion to his job; and <br />WHEREAS, JERRY R. COOK, JR. has served the people of this <br />State and this County in obtaining available benefits through <br />unwavering perseverance and diligence by working with Regional <br />and National levels of the Veterans Administration; and <br />WHEREAS, JERRY R. COOK, JR.'s vast knowledge of the laws and <br />rules of Veterans legislation has been readily and unselfishly <br />imparted through the Indian River County Veterans Service Office; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, JERRY R. COOK, JR. has proven by his actions that <br />his entire life has been dedicated to his fellowman, and <br />specifically the Veterans of this great nation's wars; and whose <br />expertise will be sorely missed by all Indian River County <br />Veterans and their families; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board, on <br />behalf of itself and the citizens of Indian River County, gives <br />thanks to JERRY R.
