Sippel, Masteller, Lorenz & Hoover, Inc. <br />Sebastian, F1. $ 6,200.. <br />Beindorf and Assoc., Inc. <br />Vero Beach, F1. $15,500. <br />Carter and Assoc:, Inc. <br />Vero Beach, Fl. $ 9,500. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />BOOK 58 F'u ?41 <br />To provide sanitary sewer service to the subject property, <br />a force main and lift station must be designed prior to Dec. <br />30, 1984. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the Professional Engineering Services Agreement with <br />Sippel, Masteller, Lorenz, and Hoover, Inc., of Sebastian, <br />Florida, in the amount of $ 6,200. <br />Administrator Wright explained that in order to keep <br />the cost of the jail down, the County will do as much of the <br />site engineering work in house as possible, but we do not <br />have the expertise to do the sewer construction. Three bids <br />were received and staff is recommending the firm of'Sippel, <br />Masteller, Lorenz, and Hoover, Inc., of Sebastian, Florida, <br />in the amount of $6,200. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, that the Board <br />award the bid for construction of the County Jail <br />sewer force main and lift station to Sippel, <br />Masteller, Lorenz, and Hoover,Inc. in the amount <br />of $6,200, and authorized the Chairman's signature <br />on the Agreement for Engineering Services. <br />Administrator Wright explained that these funds will <br />come out of the Jail budget of whatever financing is used. <br />He noted that this is the same firm that did the SR -60 <br />waterline project and the County has been very satisfied <br />with their job performance. <br />E <br />
