Condemnation, Demolition and Removal of Unsafe Structure <br /> p.m. Located at 2 Sunset Drive in the River Edge Subdivision <br /> (memorandum dated September 8 2015) 263-274 <br /> - ----- - <br /> (Clerk's Note: This Item was heard after the Board adjourned <br /> from recess). <br /> Building Official Scott McAdam asked for the Board's <br /> consideration to approve the demolition of a vacant, unsecure, <br /> and unsafe structure located at 2 Sunset Drive, in the River <br /> Edge Subdivision, owned by Joseph Sorota. <br /> Director Boling revealed that there were community concerns <br /> about the house; there was a contract on the property; and j <br /> there were outstanding code enforcement liens. He revealed <br /> that the process would stop if the buyer would pull a demolition <br /> permit (Building Permit Application on file). <br /> James Belanger, 4100 Abington Woods Circle, Realtor and <br /> Certified General Contractor, spoke of his plan to obtain the <br /> Demolition Permit; said he had a Purchase and Sale Agreement <br /> for the property, which would be conditioned on the County's <br /> concessions with the Code Enforcement liens; and explained <br /> how he intends to move forward. <br /> ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Solari, SECONDED by <br /> Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br /> Resolution 2015-119, providing for the demolition of unsafe <br /> structure and the recovery of costs. <br /> B.
