INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS <br />Fleet Management- To account for the expenses incurred to repair and <br />maintain the County's vehicles and equipment. <br />Revenues are generated by charging user <br />departments for maintenance of their vehicles and <br />equipment. <br />Self Insurance- To account for the expenses incurred for worker's <br />compensation claims, general and auto liability and <br />property damage, and employee health insurance <br />claims. Revenues are generated by charges to the <br />various departments and funds based on past <br />experience and actuarial estimates. <br />Information Technology- To account for the expenses incurred for maintaining <br />the County's computer services and geographic <br />information systems. Revenues are generated by <br />charging user departments based on their number of <br />computer equipment and their use of the geographic <br />information system. <br />155 <br />
