Description and Conditions <br />Bids were received August 28, 1984 at 11:00 A.M. for IRC #209 - Road <br />Striping Paint for the Traffic Engineering Department. <br />7 Bid Proposals were sent out, 4 Bids were received. <br />2. Alternatives and Analysis <br />This year bids were requested on both oil base paint and water base paint. <br />The Traffic Engineering Department has determined they will be using oil <br />base paint. The low bid for oil base paint was submitted by Roadway Supply, <br />Atlanta, Ga. <br />Traffic Engineering will be using only approximately 1 - 5 gal. pail of black <br />paint in 1 year. <br />3. Recommendation and Funding <br />It is recommended that IRC #209 be awarded to the low bidder for oil base <br />road striping paint, Roadway Supply. <br />Funds to come from Account #001-245-541..-35-35 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the Board <br />unanimously awarded annual Bid #2.09 to the low <br />bidder, Roadway Supply of Atlanta, Ga., for oil <br />base road striping paint at the prices set out in <br />the following bid tabulation. <br />IP <br />C.1 <br />
