Description and Conditions <br />Bids were received September 11, 1984 at 11:00 A.M. for IRC #219 —Typewriter <br />Maintenance Contract for maintenance of all typewriters under the Board of <br />County Commissioners and the Clerks office. <br />5 Bid Proposals were sent out, 4 Bids were received. <br />2. Alternatives and Analysis <br />By bidding all typewriters under the Board of County Commissioners and Clerks <br />office together, we are able to obtain a lower price. <br />This year's contract is with Kemper Business Systems at $55.00 per.electric <br />typewriter and $70.00 per electronic typewriter. <br />The low bidder based on total cost, is Business Machines, Inc. West Palm Beach. <br />The cost is $40.00 per electric typewriter and $125.00 per electronic typewriter, <br />a substantial saving over last year. The serviceman is based in Fort Pierce <br />with a 4 hour response time. <br />3.
