S E P 26 1984 <br />BOOK 5,9 F`',F 482 <br />Commissioner Wodtke expressed concern about the state <br />making 10 million available this year and possibly only 2 <br />million next year and expecting the County to make up the <br />difference. <br />Dr. Tucker believed there will be an on-going program <br />if we can demonstrate effective management. <br />Commissioner Bird inquired about subcontracting through - <br />local physicians and asked if they would be paid by Dr. <br />Tucker. <br />Dr. Tucker stated that is correct. We presently have a <br />similar program much more limited in scope re pregnancy, and <br />it seems to be working well. He stated that the figure we <br />are proposing is $350,000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Chairman to sign the Letter of <br />Intent to Stephen King, M.D., State Health Officer, <br />re funds to provide Primary Care service in this <br />county. <br />M <br />I <br />
