The Chairman opened the public hearing on the Beach <br />Acquisition General Obligation Bonds. <br />OMB Director Barton explained that these are General <br />Obligation Bonds authorized by the voters in November of 1982 to <br />acquire parcels of beach frontage. This is the second year we <br />will be taxing, and there is no rollback provision because it is <br />a voted debt levy. The proposed millage is .45073, and the <br />proposed budget is $1,396,250. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />There were none. <br />Attorney Brandenburg read aloud the title of Resolution 84- <br />75, which proposes a millage rate of .45073 for the Beach <br />Acquisition General Obligation Bonds. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 84-75, establishing a millage <br />rate of .45073 for the Beach Acquisition General <br />Obligation Bonds for fiscal year 1984-85. <br />19 <br />SEP 26 1984 BooK 58 rAGE 518 <br />
