The Chairman opened the public hearing on the Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit. <br />OMB Director Barton explained that this fund is for those <br />goods and services provided to the unincorporated area residents, <br />and this tax is applicable to those particular residents only. <br />The proposed millage is 1.36514, which represents a 4.470 <br />increase over rollback, and the proposed budget is $5,164,558.. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard re <br />the MSTU. There were none. <br />Attorney Brandenburg read aloud the title of Resolution 84- <br />77, proposing a millage rate of 1.36514 for the Multipurpose <br />Municipal Service Taxing Unit, which is 4.470 over rollback. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing on the Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />J adopted Resolution 84-77 establishing a millage <br />rate of 1.36514 for the Municipal Service <br />Taxing Unit for fiscal year 1984-85. <br />23 <br />SEP 26 1984 BOOK S P'1cE 5 9 <br />
