The Chairman opened the public hearing on the West County <br />Fire District. <br />OMB Director Barton explained that this is an MSTU under the <br />Board of County Commissioners, and it includes all County lands <br />west of I-95 except for some land around Fellsmere. The proposed <br />millage is .32828, which is the same as the rollback rate; there <br />is no increase. This District has a proposed operating budget of <br />$44,000, which consists of a few operating expenses and transfers <br />to the North and South County Fire Districts of $20,000 each for <br />the services they provide. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />There were none. <br />Attorney Brandenburg read aloud the title of Resolution <br />84-83, which proposes a millage rate of 0.32828, representing 0% <br />increase over rollback. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />�by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 84-83, establishing a <br />millage rate of 0.32828 for the West County <br />Fire District for fiscal year 1984-85. <br />37 <br />S E P 2 6 1954 B00K- 58 PAGE 53 <br />J <br />
