ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSES: <br />1. Charge the Fire District a fire hydrant maintenance fee of $75.00 <br />for the entire 1983/84 fiscal year. This would compute to $17,400 <br />based on the 232 fire hydrants the County presently maintains. <br />2. The Fire District would be charged $75.00 per hydrant through <br />May and from June on be charged $150.00 per hydrant. This would comput <br />to $23,142 for the 1983/84 fiscal year. <br />3. Charge the Fire District the full $150.00 per hydrant for the <br />entire 1983/84 fiscal year. This would compute $34,800 based on the <br />232 fire hydrants the County presently maintains. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners select one of the <br />above alternatives. <br />Administrator Wright presented the alternatives in the <br />above memo. <br />Financial Administrator Tom Nason noted that the South <br />County Fire Advisory Committee had not made a recommendation <br />on this matter. <br />Administrator Wright recommended that the fees be <br />pro -rated from the effective date of the ordinance, which is <br />approximately two weeks after adoption by the Board, and Mr. <br />Nason agreed that alternative #2 is the fairest option. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />approved Alternative #2, as recommended by <br />the County Administrator. <br />V PUBLIC HEARING - COUNTY -INITIATED REQUEST TO REZONE 32.7 Irk <br />GJ m � <br />4", <br />O k ACRES FROM COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO MULTIPLE -FAMILY DISTRICT <br />cb� <br />The hour of 9:15 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to wit: <br />15 BooK 58 Fn1jF572 <br />OCT 10 1984 <br />
