She noted that a large group is in <br />attendance today in support of the lighting district. <br />Chairman Scurlock asked those in attendance who were <br />for the street lighting MSTU to stand. Approximately 25 <br />people stood up. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Ordinance 84-71, establishing a <br />Municipal Service Taxing Unit for street <br />lighting in Vero Highlands, with the changes <br />noted by Attorney Paull; authorized <br />OMB Director Barton to accept the $5,000 seed <br />money from General Development Corporation; and <br />instructed staff to prepare a statement of <br />repayment terms to be brought back to the Board <br />for approval. <br />Mr. Kulczycki agreed to post a map of the street light <br />placements in the front office of GDC and also at the, <br />recreation building. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Chairman to sign all necessary <br />documents in connection with this matter. <br />M <br />
