Raise the awareness and knowledge among county staffs of the <br />significant use of hazardous materials in their governmental <br />operations. <br />3. Develop siting criteria for hazardous waste storage/transfer <br />stations. <br />Since each county has its own unique governmental structure -those serving <br />on the TCC may differ from county to county. However, the following <br />agencies/departments typically have certain responsibilities with regard to <br />hazardous waste management and, therefore, should be considered. Some <br />suggested groups or individuals include: <br />1. Fire department <br />2. Land fill supervisor <br />3. County planner <br />4. Solid waste authority <br />5. Environmental health officer <br />6. County attorney <br />7. Code enforcement officer <br />8.
