Wednesday, October 17, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County;Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />October 17, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman. William C. Wodtke, Jr., was <br />temporarily delayed. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy -Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Attorney <br />Brandenburg led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Commissioner Lyons wished to add to the agenda a report on <br />his trip to Tallahassee re the problems associated with Medical <br />Examiner Walker. <br />Attorney Brandenburg wished to add a general discussion in <br />regard to the situation at Blue Cypress Lake fish camp. <br />Chairman Scurlock requested that an item be added approving <br />out -of -County travel to Fort Lauderdale for a rate study seminar. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, Commissioner Wodtke <br />being delayed temporarily, the Board unani- <br />mously (4-0) approved the addition of the <br />above described items to today's agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of Septem- <br />ber 12, 1984. <br />OCT 17 1984 BOOK 5$ PY:,E 63 <br />
