RESOLUTION #85-9 _ <br />It was moved by Dorothy Talbert, seconded by Ruth Barnes, and unanimously <br />carried that the following resolution be adopted: <br />That the School Board obj.ects to the lack of notification <br />by the County Planning and Zoning Commission and its <br />recommendation on 9/13/84 in regard to the "Anthony Rezoning" <br />to rezone as commercial the property located at the corner <br />of Clemans Avenue and North Gifford Road. <br />`Richard Bolinger:�Eairman <br />I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution <br />adopted by the Indian River County School Board at a regular meeting held <br />September 25, 1984. <br />l <br />..dames A. Burns, Superintendent <br />Administrator Wright pointed out that by County policy <br />everyone within 300' is notified, and the school is not within <br />that boundary. <br />Dorothy Talbert, member of the School Board, stated that she <br />was appearing both as a mother of children who went to this <br />school and a School Board representative. She felt that perhaps <br />in this case an exception could have been made to the 300' <br />notification policy. Mrs. Talbert agreed that most of the <br />children in this area do walk to school, and to put in anything <br />17 <br />OCT 17 19084 BOOK 58 Fa,E 65 <br />J <br />
