DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />Kate Pingolt Cotner, Assistant County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold, County Attorney (r <br />DATE: August 24, 2015 <br />SUBJECT: Drainage Easement for Dodgertown Cloverleaf Property <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 14, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County (the "Board") approved <br />an interlocal agreement with the City of Vero Beach relating to the former Dodgertown Golf Course <br />property. In the interlocal agreement, Indian River County and the City of Vero Beach agreed to execute <br />and approve various documents. On July 14, 2015, the Board approved the required documents consistent <br />with the terms of the interlocal agreement. One of those documents was a drainage easement over the <br />Cloverleaf Property pond and outfall located at Historic Dodgertown. Since that time it was discovered <br />that the proper legal description was not attached to the drainage easement approved by the Board. The <br />attached easement now contains the proper legal description which has been reviewed and approved by <br />the Indian River County Surveyor. <br />APPROVED FOR SEPTEMBER 15, 2015 <br />B.C.
