Wednesday, November 28, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, November 28, <br />1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., <br />Chairman; William C. Wodtke, Jr., Margaret C. Bowman, and Richard <br />N. Bird. Absent was Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman, who was <br />recuperating from surgery. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental <br />Relations Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Scurlock called the meeting to order and Attorney <br />Brandenburg led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of a Proclamation honoring Leslychter Watson for his 27 years of <br />service to Indian River County. He also requested the addition <br />of recognition of the Certificate of Performance awarded the <br />Finance Department. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of a report on yesterday's meeting of the Beach Preservation and <br />Restoration Committee re the damage done by the Thanksgiving Day <br />storm. <br />H 1A <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />BOOK � FACE "A <br />
