Wednesday, December 5, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />December 5, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Absent was Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chair- <br />man, who was recuperating from surgery. Also present were <br />Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Stan Sanford, First Baptist Church, Wabasso, gave <br />the invocation, and Administrator Wright led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested that Item 12 - Water Master <br />Plan Contract - be delayed one more week and deferred to the next <br />Agenda. <br />Attorney Brandenburg wished to delete Item 13A - <br />Authorization to advertise Public Hearing for SR 60 Wastewater <br />Project Equalization Hearing - and add in its place a discussion <br />in regard to the Hutchinson Island Resource Management Study <br />Committee's recommendation re designating us an area of critical <br />concern. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested that a discussion re Quay Dock <br />Road be added under her items. <br />Commissioner Bird requested that two matters be added under <br />his items - a brief report on a recent meeting of the Indian <br />River County Fairgrounds Board of Directors and a discussion in <br />regard to some emergency repairs needed at the Indian River <br />County Library parking lot. <br />DEC 51984 809K t519 .CE 79 <br />
