RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />final plat approval to Shorelands Subdivision, authorize the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to sign acontract <br />with the applicant committing the applicant to completing the <br />remaining required improvements, and accept the irrevocable <br />letter of credit guaranteeing the contract. <br />Commissioner Wodtke questioned the expiration date, July 30, <br />1985, shown on the irrevocable letter of credit, and Attorney <br />Brandenburg explained that if the required improvements are not <br />completed prior to that expiration date, we would call down the <br />letter of credit; it, therefore, is necessary that someone keep a <br />tickler file on such letters of credit so they are not allowed to <br />lapse. <br />Administrator Wright assured the Board that staff will take <br />care of this. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />granted Final Plat Approval to Shorelands Subdivi- <br />sion and authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />Contract with Shoreland Development for Construc- <br />tion of Required Improvements as recommended by staff. <br />(Said Contract is on file in the Office of the Clerk.) <br />'RESOLUTION ASSURING COUNTY SUPPORT OF PROVIDING FAIR HOUSING <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />adopted Resolution 84-103 demonstrating the <br />County's efforts in providing nondiscriminate <br />housing choice to minorities. <br />13 <br />DEC 121994 800K 9 f"111 465 <br />
