Davis, P. REFERENCES: Earl H. Masteller, P.E. , Sippel, <br />Public Works Director Masteller, Lorenz, and Hoover, Inc. <br />to Jim Davis dated Dec. 14, 1984 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Bids were received December 13, 1984, at 10:00 AM in the County <br />Commission Conference Room, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, for <br />the subject project. Prior to receipt of bids, the advertisement for bids <br />were published in the Local newspaper, and all legal purchasing requirements <br />as required were followed. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />As described in the above referenced letter, the three low bidders <br />were as follows: <br />1) Collee Mechanical, Inc. - Vero Beach, Fl. $73,715.00 <br />2) Owl and Associates, Inc. - Vero Beach, F1. 75,595.00 <br />3) Jobear, Inc. Melbourne, F1. 91,328.50 <br />Three bids were received. The low bidder, Collee Mechanical, Inc., <br />is presently constructing the force main system to Whispering Hills and <br />Ixora plants. <br />RECOYMMATIONS AND FUND]NG <br />It is reammended that the bid be awarded to Collee Mechanical, Inc. <br />of Vero Beach, Fl. for the Indian River County Jail Pump Station and Force <br />Main in the amount of $73,715.00. Funding to be from proceeds of 1¢ sales tax. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />awarded the bid for the County Jail Pump Station <br />and Force Main to low bidder, Collee Mechanical, <br />Inc., in the amount of $73,715., as recommended <br />by staff. <br />BOND - SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS (ADDED ITEM) <br />Chairman Lyons explained that the newly elected Supervisor <br />of Elections, Ann Robinson, is taking office a week earlier than <br />94 <br />
