Wednesday, January 9, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, January 9, 1985, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. Lyons, Chairman; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; William C. Wodtke, Jr., Margaret C. <br />Bowman, and Richard N. Bird. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations <br />Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Lyons called the meeting to order and Commissioner <br />Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />of a report on yesterday's meeting of the Transportation Planning <br />Committee. <br />Commissioner Scurlock also requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a resolution honoring Rosemary Richey. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested the addition of a report on the <br />Beach Preservation and Restoration Committee. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of the appointment of <br />Ned Potter to the Firearms Range Committee. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested the deletion from today's Agenda <br />of Item 10B - Fee Proposal from Bond Counsel; Trillium Tool Technics, <br />Inc. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the deletion of the North County <br />Fire District meeting since the only item of business is the approval <br />of Minutes of the meeting of 11/28/84. <br />
