SAN 9 1985 BOOK ';9 -5 <br />'3rd Street between 18th and 20th Avenues <br />Chairman Lyons opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. <br />John Romano, 1920 3rd Street, asked the Commission to give some <br />consideration to those people living on a corner by allowing them to <br />pay the cost over a longer period of time than just two years. <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis felt that 3 years would not be a <br />problem with him, and Chairman Lyons advised this would be taken under <br />consideration. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />'Resolution 85-07, providing for certain paving and <br />drainage improvements to 3rd Street between 18th and <br />20th Avenues; approved the preliminary assessment roll in <br />the amount of $14,273 to be allocated from the petition <br />paving fund; and authorized the Road & Bridge Dept. to <br />schedule construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously authorized the <br />extension of payments over a 3 -year period for certain <br />situations where a corner lot is involved. <br />20 <br />
