M <br />ii. Noncommercial kennels and animal boarding places shall be <br />allowed in the above described districts only as an accesso- <br />ry use, pursuant to the standards of Section 25(G). <br />iii. Any structure, pen, cage, pet shelter, or fence, which is <br />intended, or used, for the confinement, care, or breeding of <br />such animals shall meet the same setbacks required for other <br />principal structures in the given zoning district. <br />iv. Exception. An owner or occupant of a developed sin- <br />gle -family -detached parcel or lot shall not be considered to <br />be maintaining or using said property as a noncommercial <br />kennel or animal boarding place, notwithstanding other <br />limitations stated in this section, where each of the <br />following conditions is satisfied: <br />-- Such use does not or will not involve the primary <br />harboring or keeping of such animals other than within <br />the principal residential dwelling; and <br />-- Such use does not or will not involve the placement or <br />construction of an outside animal boarding structure or <br />cage of any kind; and <br />-- The owner or occupant demonstrates by proof satisfac- <br />tory to the Planning and Development Division that he <br />or she has complied with any applicable animal control <br />statute or ordinance with respect to the vaccination, <br />licensing, registration, and restraint of the animals <br />intended to be, or being, kept on such property; and <br />-- Such use does not or will not involve the keeping of <br />more than six (6) such animals, not counting litters of <br />young less than the age of four (4) months. <br />8. Nurseries and Greenhouses, Noncommercial. (Administrative Permit and - <br />Special Exception <br />a. Districts Requiring Administrative Permit: Noncommercial nur- <br />series and greenhouses shall be allowed in the RFD district upon <br />receiving approval for an administrative permit as provided in Section <br />25.2 and after meeting the requirements defined below. <br />b. Districts Requiring Special Exception: Noncommercial nurseries <br />and -greenhouses may be permitted in the RS -1, RS -3, RS -6, RT -6, RM -3, <br />RM -4, RM -6, RM -B, RM -10 and RM -14 districts upon receiving approval as <br />a special exception as provided in Section 25.3 and after meeting the <br />requirements defined below. <br />C. Additional Information Requirements: The site plan shall show <br />the location of the principal use on the site and all screening <br />materials, pursuant to the standards of Section 23. <br />d. Criteria for Noncommercial Nurseries and Greenhouses: <br />i. Such uses shall be deemed accessory to the principal use on <br />site. <br />ii. All storage areas be screened by a fence or fully enclosed <br />within a structure. <br />iii. Such uses shall comply with all provisions of Section 25(G), <br />Accessory Buildings. <br />iv. Such uses shall satisfy all of the maximum lot coverage and <br />minimum space provisions of the applicable zoning district. <br />V.
