Wednesday, January 23, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />January 23, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr., Margaret C. Bowman, and Richard N. Bird. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L.S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Jeffrey K. <br />Barton, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Lyons called the meeting to order and Administrator <br />Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of authorization for out -of -County travel for he and members of <br />the Beach Preservation and Restoration Committee to attend a <br />Cabinet meeting in Tallahassee on February 19, 1985. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's <br />agenda of a reply to the Coast Guard re the Barber Bridge <br />openings. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />BOOK .)F_ 690, <br />
