Baird REFERENCES: A) SML&H Letter 2/5/85 <br />p and Change Orders <br />As istant Utilities Director <br />The attached change order in the amount of $57,871.45 <br />from Boyce Company is for the construction of a 20" water <br />main approximately 1400 lineal feet west on Kings Highway, <br />north of Route 60. By installing the 1400 lineal feet of <br />water line now before the new road improvements are done <br />will save the Utility. Department a considerable amount of <br />money. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1) Approve Change Order #4, Contract 3 from Boyce Company <br />to construct the 20" water main, 1400 lineal feet west <br />on Kings Highway. <br />2) Disapprove Change Order #4, Contract 3 from Boyce Company <br />to construct the 20" water main, 1400 lineal feet west <br />on Kings Highway. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board 'of County Commissioners <br />approve Change Order #4, Contract #3 for Boyce Company in <br />the amount of $57,871.45. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order #4, Contract #3, Boyce Co., in the <br />amount of $57,871.45. <br />FEB <br />3 <br />BOOP( 59 P'+UE 909 <br />
