1 <br />1 <br />357 <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 2nd 1931. <br />At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River <br />County, Florida, held at the Court House in Fero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, <br />June 2nd 19319 the following members of the Board were present; Albert 0. Helseth, <br />Chai=an; J.D.Yongue; J.W.LaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and Eli C. Walker. Also present <br />were Miles Warren, Clerk and Clark So Rice, Sheriff. <br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. <br />The following checks were received: <br />Reed H Hutchison,sale of material........$ 25.20 <br />F S Slader, sale of material............. 14.00 <br />T.H.Sibley, Rent of tractor .............. 98.35 <br />Thos. Palmer, sale of material........... 20.00 <br />TOTAL..4048466096060466157.55 <br />such Checks were ordered placed in the Road & Bridge Fund. <br />A.O.Greynolds appeared before the Board regarding the re -oiling of roads in <br />Special Road & Bridge District '#4. <br />Application of airs R. Cothern for Mothers' Pension received, and appearing in <br />form, it was ordered that she be placed on the Bothers' Pension list to receive the <br />sum of $20.00 per month until further orders. <br />As provided by law, the Board of County Commissioners received applications for <br />designation as County Depository for the year beginning July lot 1931 and ending <br />June 30th 1932. The application of Fawners Bank of Fero Beach having been received and <br />carefully considered, it was ordered that such Bank be designated as the official <br />County Depository for all funds coming under the jurisdiction of this Board for the <br />year next ensuing, and further ordered that the Depository Bond to be filed be in the <br />sum of $10t000.00. <br />On account of failure of a large number of tax -payers to pay the taxes upon <br />their property, and by reason of the more moderate living conditions than heretofore <br />existing the Board proceeded to check over the Pauper list and also the list of those <br />receiving Mothers' Pensions from the County, and after carefully considering same, <br />ordered that the following changes be made in the list, effective July lot 19311 <br />Present Proposed <br />P A U P E R S.
