The applicants have submitted deeds to' the Planning Depart- <br />ment showning that they hold fee simple title to the land in <br />question. No lots within the subdivision will have their <br />means of access affected by a partial plat vacation. Also, <br />documentation has been submitted by the Indian River County <br />Tax Collector's office certifying that all back taxes on the <br />property have been paid. <br />Thus, all state requirements concerning plat vacation have <br />been met. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopt a resolution vacating a portion of the Old Sugar Mill <br />Estates Unit Two subdivision plat consisting of Lots 6, 7, _ <br />and 8 and the 49th Avenue County right-of-way between these <br />lots. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board approve <br />staff's recommendation of the plat vacation <br />request. <br />Under discussion, Planner Stan Boling advised that the <br />applicant had requested that no action be taken today and <br />that the matter be postponed until the March 27th meeting. <br />COMMISSIONERS SCURLOCK AND WODTKE WITHDREW <br />THEIR MOTION. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />continued the Public Hearing until March 27, 1985. <br />REPORT ON NACo CONFERENCE <br />Commissioner Wodtke reported that there was a great <br />turn out at the recent conference held in Washington, which <br />marked NACo's 50th anniversary.
