Wednesday, April 3, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />April 3, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy <br />Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend John Few, Christ Methodist by the Sea, gave the <br />invocation, and Administrator Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Bowman wished to add to today's agenda a <br />presentation to the Employee of the Quarter. <br />Commissioner Scurlock wished to add authorization for <br />out -of -county travel for himself to attend a Waste Recycling <br />Seminar. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested the addition of approval of <br />out -of -county travel so -that he could attend the Annual Hurricane <br />Conference. <br />The Administrator suggested that these items be added under <br />the Consent Agenda. - <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to today's agenda. <br />APR 3 1985 <br />
