1 <br />Wednesday, May 8, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />May 8, 1985 at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. Lyons, <br />Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; <br />Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were <br />Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L.S. "Tommy" <br />Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Jeffrey K. Barton, <br />OMB Director; and Barbara A. Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Lyons opened the meeting and Vice Chairman Scurlock <br />led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's <br />agenda of a report on a sludge disposal and solid waste seminar <br />he attended with Utilities Services Director Terry Pinto. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested the addition of a report on <br />the Hurricane Conference, <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested two additions: a discussion <br />re aquatic preserve rules and a discussion on the County's <br />comments to the St. Johns River Water Management District. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />AYBOOK F�:� 79; J <br />1985 <br />I <br />
