I <br />MAY 2 2 1985 <br />8001( 61 PAGE 04. <br />3j an irrevocable letter of credit for $3,000 guaranteeing <br />the contract for construction, <br />4) a warranty maintenance agreement covering improvements <br />dedicated to the public, <br />5) an approved itemized construction cost list, <br />6) an irrevocable letter of credit for $15,000 guarantee- <br />ing the warranty maintenance agreement, <br />7) and a final plat that is in conformance with the <br />approved preliminary plat. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />This application has been reviewed by the appropriate depart- <br />ments. The Public Works Division has inspected- the site and <br />approved all completed improvements. The amounts to be posted <br />for construction of the remaining improvements and for the <br />warranty -maintenance agreement have also been approved by Public <br />Works. The County Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved <br />the contract for construction subject to its being signed by the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. The County <br />Attorney's Office has also indicated that the submitted warranty <br />maintenance agreement and irrevocable letters of credit are <br />acceptable to the County. Thus all applicable County regulations <br />have been satisfied. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />final plat approval to Kirk Wood Estates Subdivision, accept the <br />submitted warranty maintenance agreement and irrevocable letters <br />of credit, and authorize the Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners to sign the contract for construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously granted <br />final plat approval to Kirk Wood Estates subdivision, <br />accepted the warranty maintenance agreement and <br />irrevocable letters of credit, and authorized the <br />Chairman to sign the contract for construction, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />
