JUN 5 1985' <br />BOOKFh'E 55 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-55 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION <br />FOR A FARMWORKER HOUSING ASSISTANCE TRUST FUND <br />GRANT ADMINISTERED BY FLORIDA'S DEPARTMENT OF <br />COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, RURAL HOUSING SECTION TO <br />ALLEVIATE A SERIOUS SHORTAGE OF DECENT, SAFE AND <br />SANITARY HOUSING FOR FARMWORKERS IN FLORIDA AND <br />TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTENCE TO <br />PUBLIC BODIES TOWARD THIS GOAL. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has reviewed this proposal and has recieved the <br />recommendation from the Executive Director of the Indian <br />River County Housing Authority; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the <br />Chairman and the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners <br />are authorized to execute the attached application.to the <br />State of Florida's Department of Community Affairs for a <br />Farmworkers Assistance Trust Fund Grant. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Scurlock <br />who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by commissioner <br />Wodtke and, upon being up to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Patrick B. Lyons Aye <br />Vice Chairman Don C. Scurlock,.Jr. Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye <br />Commissioner William C. Wodtke, Jr.. Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N.
