<br />I WHEREAS, the County Public Works Dapaarrt(--
<br />1 ment has received a public Improvement petl;,
<br />i tion, signed by more than a majority (but less
<br />than N of the owners of property.lnthe area to
<br />Ye specially benefited, requesting paving and
<br />tirainge Improvements to 19th Avenue South-
<br />west between 13th and 14th Streets Southwest;
<br />nd
<br />WHEREAS, at the July 11,1984 County Com-
<br />lesion meeting, the Board unanimously moved
<br />Initiate the requested Improvements, using
<br />e authority reserved to the Board in Section 25
<br />Ordinance 81-27, 'end authorized the Public
<br />arks Division to proceed with the project In sc-
<br />rdance the the ordinance; and the design
<br />rk including cost estimates have been -in-
<br />pl6ted by the Public Works Division and the total
<br />heated cost of the proposed improvements is
<br />1 ,340.41; and
<br />I HEREAS, this resolution has been Pub -
<br />lie ed In accordance with ordinance require
<br />-
<br />a
<br />and a public hearing conducted; and
<br />HEREAS, the special assessment provided
<br />h under shall, for any given record owner of
<br />p rill within the area specially benefited, be
<br />in an amount equal to that proportion of sev-
<br />entd lve percent (75%) of the total cost of the
<br />project which the number of lineal feet of road
<br />frontage owned by the given owner bears to the
<br />total t number of lineal feet of road frontage
<br />within the area specially benefited, and shall be-
<br />come due and payable at the Office o1 the Tax
<br />Collector of Indian River County ninety (90) days
<br />after the final determination of the special as-
<br />sessment pursuant to Ordinance 81-27; and
<br />WHEREAS, Indian Rim County shall pay the
<br />remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the total
<br />cost of the project; and • : •
<br />WHEREAS, any special assessment not paid
<br />within Bald ninety (90) day Period shall bear in.
<br />terest beyond the due date at a rate established
<br />by the Board of County Commissioners at the
<br />time of preparation of- the flal assessment roll,
<br />and shall be payable. In two (2) equal Intall-
<br />ments, the first to be made twelve (12) months
<br />from the due data and the second to be made
<br />twenty -tour (24) months form the due date; and
<br />WHEREAS, after examination of the nature
<br />and anticipated usage of the proposed improve-
<br />ments, the Board of County Commissioners has
<br />determined that the following described proper-
<br />ties shall receive a direct and special benefh
<br />from these improvements, to wit
<br />Lots 12 through 20, Block A. Lot 22,
<br />Block A Lots 1, Block D; Lots 3 through
<br />11,itelock D; Oslo Park Subdivision as _
