<br />Utilities Director Pinto noted that the requirements set out
<br />in this ordinance came from the Planning Department and are
<br />needed to satisfy the Orchid Island Resource Management Plan
<br />(originally Hutchinson Island Resource Management Plan).
<br />Director Pinto recommended that the Board adopt this Ordinance,
<br />which sets higher standards than our present criteria, and noted
<br />that in the near future, staff would be back before the board
<br />recommending that these same requirements be adopted for the
<br />entire county.
<br />Commissioner Bird asked how many systems will be affected.
<br />Utilities Director Pinto noted that the South Beach systems
<br />will be taken out of service and taken into the City; so, it
<br />won't affect them. There are three on North Beach, and he
