r <br />Wednesday, June 12, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />June 12, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L.S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Jeffrey K. <br />Barton, OMB Director; and Barbara A. Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Lyons opened the meeting and Commissioner Bird led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda for authorization to schedule a labor relations caucus. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition of an emergency <br />item re the purchase of a new tape recorder for the Clerk's <br />Office, and also requested the addition of a discussion re the <br />proposed gas sales tax. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or <br />additions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 8, 1985. <br />There were none. <br />JUS 12 1985 1; F J ;7 <br />
