BOX 1389 <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA - 32961 <br />Telephone: 567-5151 <br />Mr. Terry Pinto <br />Director of Utilities <br />Indian River County <br />1840 - 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Dear Mr. Pinto: <br />BOOK I P1,Gr 1."? <br />This letter is to document the results of the meeting between Joe <br />Baird and Andres Paap on 1-30-85 concerning the transfer of South <br />Beach Water Project from the County to the City. <br />They agreed that the funds payable.to the City as a result of this <br />transfer were calculated in a manner that was reasonable and <br />acceptable to the County with one minor exception. Joe felt that the <br />cost of site preparation work performed by the Water Project for the <br />Fire District, $18,360.54, even if not a part of the project cost, <br />should have been included in the base amount of the G & A <br />calculation. His point that the County was administratively involved <br />is well taken, and'I have therefore reduced the amount.payable to the <br />City by 5% of $18,360.54, or $918.03. An adjusted statement is <br />enclosed. <br />Only one thing remains to be done now, and this is for you to effect <br />the transfer of these funds to the City.
