The Board reviewed the following memo dated 6/18/85: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE DATE: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: TERRANCE G. PINZ61P <br />SUBJECT: <br />FROM: JOANNE L. REIFF <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />JUNE 18, 1985 <br />UTILITY FRANCHISE <br />APPLICATION - REQUEST TO <br />CHANGE OWNERSHIP AND <br />CHANGE NAME OF FRANCHISE <br />Holiday Village is a 128 unit mobile home park located on the Southeast <br />corner of Oslo Road and 27th Avenue. <br />Adam McGavin, the present owner, is requesting that the ownership of the <br />existing franchise for this Park be transferred to him. The official <br />owners are Edward S. Goodman and Rose M. Goodman, his wife and Alex Rowen <br />and Teresa Rowen, his wife (Exhibit 4). <br />Mr. McGavin is also requesting that the name of the franchise be changed <br />from McGuire/Treasure Coast Utilities to Holiday Village Water and <br />Wastewater System Franchise. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSES <br />Transferee agrees to accept the terms of Resolution No. 74-15 (Exhibit 3) <br />as amended and agrees to perform all of the conditions thereof (Exhibit 2). <br />A resolution is attached with exhibits which brings this older franchise <br />agreement (74-15) up to date with the franchise agreements being currently <br />executed by the County (Exhibit 2). <br />-Transferee agrees to pay all required impact fees to hookup to the County <br />Master Water System and his schedule of payments is attached as Exhibit 2d <br />which is in accordance with Ordinance 84-18, Section 8H (Exhibit 5). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the franchise <br />resolution which will change ownership of this Park to Mr. McGavin and <br />change the name of the utility franchise to Holiday Village Water and <br />Wastewater System Franchise. <br />Staff also recommends that the Board accept the schedule of payments for <br />impact fees allowing this Park to make connection to the County Water <br />System prior to full payment of same. <br />23 <br />' BOOK <br />JUN 2 6 1985 <br />
