Comm i.oners . <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, <br />County Administrator SUBJECT: <br />DIVISION HEAD CONCURRENCE: <br />Jim Di is, Public Works Director <br />FROM: Stan Boling REFERENCES: <br />Staff Planner <br />Release of a Portion <br />of Escrowed Funds Held <br />for Improvements in <br />Florence Acres Subdivision <br />RI/i/LL1W <br />It is requested that the data herein presenter formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting of July 10, 1985. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The developer of Florence Acres _Subdivision, Peter Sabonjohn, <br />Jr., is requesting the release of the $16,500 held in escrow by <br />the three party agreement executed by the County on January 4, <br />1985. This escrow agreement secures the contract (No. IRC - <br />82 -SD -1) to construct and provide the required drainage, <br />paving, and grassing improvements for the subdivision. A total <br />of $16,500 is being held by Florida National Bank in an escrow <br />account. Pursuant to Mr. Sabonjohn's request, the County <br />Engineering Department has inspected the constructed improve- <br />ments, including the regrading, reseeding, and repaving of <br />portions of the subdivision. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The Engineering Department recognizes that the developer has <br />constructed most of the required improvements in accordance <br />with the construction contract. The ground water table in this <br />area is slightly higher than estimated prior to development, <br />and the east swale is ,holding water. Grassing has begun to <br />germinate, and the north protion of the road is in need of <br />minor maintenance where grass is protruding through the asphalt. <br />Pursuant to section 5 of the'escrow agreement, the Public Works <br />Director has caused inspection of the improvements, and is <br />7 <br />JUL 10 1985 ao�� FAGE 419 <br />
