certain classifications of roads, and Director Keating stated <br />that will be addressed at the public hearing which is coming up <br />shortly. <br />Commissioner Wodtke noted that in the proposed ordinance we <br />Jump from Sec. 22 to Sec. 25.1, and Director Keating explained <br />that Section 25 is really an expansion; some of this related to <br />residential uses, and Sections 23 and 24 were approved <br />previously. <br />Planner Shearer explained that staff is in the process of <br />doing over the entire Zoning Ordinance and once all the amend- <br />ments are done and approved, they will go through and clean up <br />these numbers so that it will flow through more smoothly. <br />The Vice Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />hea rd. <br />Nancy Offutt, speaking for the Chamber of Commerce and Board <br />of Realtors, stated that as a participant in the workshops, she <br />had only good things to say about the staff. Mrs. Offutt noted <br />that their major concern would be how the nodes are allocated, <br />and she believed that will be looked at on a case by case basis. <br />She informed the Board that those she represents do support the <br />proposed ordinance. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Ordinance 85-63, amending the Zoning <br />Code by creating new Non -Residential Districts. <br />23 <br />JUL 24 1985 aooK <br />
