Staff, therefore, needs the Board's <br />decision as to whether we want to let them open with a few <br />stores. <br />Vice Chairman Scurlock believed the Committee's recommenda- <br />tion was not to let them open prematurely; however, he felt they <br />had not understood that it was the County's request that the <br />original agreement be changed. <br />Discussion ensued at length regarding the problems associa- <br />ted with the traffic impacts involved in opening prematurely and <br />having ingress and egress only from SR 60, the number of stores <br />involved, the hazard of a left turn across SR 60, etc., and <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested that this matter be put on the <br />agenda for next week when we can have the developer's represen- <br />tative here as he felt we need more backup and need to talk to <br />the people themselves. <br />It was agreed that this would be included on next week's <br />agenda, and the Vice Chairman noted that he had just wanted to <br />bring the Board an update on what was happening. <br />REZONING - TO C -1A, U.S.1 NORTH OF 81st ST.
