AUG 21 1995 BOOK <br />Staff also recommends the following action: <br />1) Accept the Project as complete on Decembers 22, 1984 with the exception <br />of the 16th St/27th Avenue intersection which was completed on or <br />about May 1, 1985. <br />Since the contract time of 510 calendar days was not exceeded, no <br />liquidated damages are applicable. <br />2) Approve Change Order # 5 in the amount of $12,420.25. This cas- <br />sation is for reconciling as -built quantities with bid quantities. <br />The total construction cost for the project was as follows: <br />1) Construction by Dickerson, Inc. $ 2,140,157.07 <br />2) Engineering & Inspection - <br />Lloyd & Assoc. Inc. 179,232.00 <br />3) Soil Testing, Aerial Photos, Etc. 11,980.00 <br />4) FEC Railroad 114,860.00 <br />5) R/W Acquisition approx. 50,000.00 <br />Total Approximate Cost $ 2,496,229.07 <br />1982 Engineering Estimate ( not <br />including R/W Acquisition) $ 2,900,000.00 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously (3-0) <br />approved the Final Pay Request, Change Orders 5 & 6, <br />for the 16th Street Traffic and Pedestrian Improve- <br />ments, as recommended and set out in the above <br />memo by Public Works Director Davis. <br />13 <br />
