The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing on the <br />Transportation Fund. <br />OMB Director Barton explained that there is no millage <br />assessment for the Transportation Fund as it is funded by <br />transfers in from both the General Fund and the MSTU. The <br />proposed budget is $5,099,030. <br />The Vice Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved a tentative budget of $5,099,030 for <br />the Transportation Fund for fiscal year 1985-86. <br />The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing on the Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit. <br />OMB Director Barton reported that the proposed millage is <br />1.22025, which is lower than the rollback rate, and the proposed <br />budget is $6,501,166. <br />The Vice Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard.
