The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing on Federal <br />Revenue Sharing, as well as all the other operating funds listed. <br />Commissioner Wodtke inquired about the $325,000 in Federal: <br />Revenue Sharing which we took out of the General Fund, and <br />Director Barton explained the total FRS budget, which is $565,607 <br />does not change; the interfund transfers will be zeroed and the <br />$325,000 is going to go on a multitude of lines which he will <br />have to work out before the final budget is considered. The OMB <br />Director noted that there are no millages involved with these <br />operating funds and, therefore, no rollback requirement. He then <br />stated that the proposed budgets are as follows: <br />Federal Revenue Sharing <br />$ 565,607 <br />1980 & 1981 Bonds <br />1,471,925 <br />Section 8 Rental Assistance <br />598,679, <br />Police Academy Trust Fund <br />53,100 <br />Secondary Road Construction <br />5,278,320 <br />Special Law Enforcement Fund <br />(Confiscated Property) <br />152,935 <br />Pistol Permits Fund <br />2,100 <br />Parks Development Fund <br />39,290 <br />The Vice Chairman inquired about the Housing Authority <br />budget as he would like to vote against it, but Director Barton <br />noted that the Commission does not approve their budget. <br />The Vice Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard. There were none. and the Vice Chairman thereupon declared <br />the public hearing closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved the tentative budgets for the above <br />listed budgets as stated by the OMB Director. <br />The Vice Chairman announced that the Commission would next <br />consider the budgets for the Enterprise and Internal Service <br />Funds, which are set out as follows: <br />29 <br />SEP 41985 BOOK 61 Fa,E 98 <br />
