Chief Financial Officer of the State of Florida, or the County of Indian River, or any <br /> representative, shall have access to any books, documents, papers, and records of the <br /> CONTRACTOR which are directly pertinent to services provided or performed under this <br /> Contract for purposes of making audit, examination, excerpts, and transcriptions <br /> (f) In the event of any audit or inspection conducted reveals any overpayment by the <br /> COUNTY under the terms of the Contract, the CONTRACTOR shall refund such !` <br /> overpayment to the COUNTY within thirty (30) days of notice by the COUNTY of the <br /> request for the refund <br /> (g) The CONTRACTOR agrees to fully comply with all State laws relating to public <br /> records. <br /> (h) The CONTRACTOR agrees that if any litigation, claim, or audit is started before <br /> the expiration of the record retention period established above, the records shall be <br /> retained until all litigation, claims, or audit findings involving the records have been <br /> resolved and final action taken. <br /> SECTION 38: COUNTERPARTS. <br /> This Contract may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which shall be II <br /> deemed an original, but all of which, taken together; shall constitute one and the-same <br /> document. <br /> SECTION 39: SUBMITTALS. <br /> The following are items the CONTRACTOR must submit to the COUNTY as stated in <br /> this Contract. <br /> 1 Description of Services, Section 13. <br /> 2 Worker Compensation Insurance for all employees; <br /> 3 Certificates of Liability Insurance, Exhibit B <br /> 4 Drug Free Workforce Policy; <br /> 5 Price Schedule <br /> This Contract describes each item listed above in detail. All provided to the COUNTY <br /> I' <br /> must be accurate and updated certifying the CONTRACTOR is proceeding correctly. <br /> SECTION 40: EXHIBITS. <br /> Each Exhibit referred to and attached to this Contract is an essential part of this <br /> Contract. The Exhibits and any amendments or revisions thereto, even if not physically <br /> attached hereto, shall be treated as if they are part of this Contract. <br /> 23 <br />
